Fun & unique baby clothes and gifts

When we came across the fun products from Nestlings, we knew we had to have them here at Polkadot Patch Boutique. These unique baby gifts are the brainchild of Renee Palmer who loves to create from fabulous fabrics something fun, functional and maybe a little ridiculous for everyday.

Although her life is sometimes hectic, she draws inspiration from her four children, to meet her professional goals. The aim of Nestlings is to create quality "Handmade" items that don't look "Handmade". Her high standards and quality show in her straight seams, topstitching and high end fabrics.

Renee has been sewing for 12 years and really loves seeing or hearing people's reactions to something she has created. As a true fabric artist, she gets a lot of personal satisfaction from knowing people like (or want) something she has created.

When she's not busy sewing or quilting, you will find her reading! She loves John Steinbeck and Pearl S. Buck as authors. Of course, spending time family and friends is an important part of her world.

Nestlings products can easily be described as functional, classic, retro, fun, and ridiculous. Although we wouldn't use that last word to describe her items, Renee does and to us it shows her love and dedication to designing for children!

Creativity and color inspire the designs of Nestlings products. These items are so fun for baby gifts and make both babies and adults smile. These handcrafted products are exceptional in design and quality and make wonderful baby gifts that will get plenty of "ahhhs" and "oohhhhs".
