Ordering Information


When you shop on our website, our shopping cart will keep track of your purchases. (And it’s a lot easier than pushing a shopping cart around! And...you can shop in your pj's!)

To add items to the shopping cart:
  1. Click on the “Add to Cart” button. You'll see the product name and you choose the quantity and size/color if applicable.
  2. When you add products to your cart, you'll have two choices: continue shopping, or check out.  Just click the button of your choice. It's that easy!
To check out:
  1. When you're done shopping, use the "Checkout" button.
  2. To use a gift certificate, simply imput the code in the coupon box and your gift certificate will be applied.
Finalize your order:
  1. Provide information on where your order should be sent and what shipping method would prefer.
  2. If you wish to have your purchase gift wrapped, simply check the appropriate box and include a message if desired.
  3. Hit the “continue” button to proceed.   Please note that gift wrapping is not available on all items.
  4. Select one of four credit-card payment options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or a Polkadot Patch Boutique gift certificate.
  5. Enter credit card number and expiration date. Our safe shopping guarantee keeps all of this information safe and private.
  6. If your shipping address is the same as your billing address, simply check the appropriate box. Please include your email address and check the appropriate box if you would like a confirmation of your order emailed to this address.
  7. If you have a promotional coupon (or gift certificate), enter it in the appropriate space.
  8. Please consider allowing Yahoo! to send you an email asking you to rate us. We are striving to be a 5-star merchant and would appreciate you letting Yahoo! know we are!
  9. Please check the box to let us know how you heard about Polkadot Patch Boutique.
  10. Please check the appropriate box if you are interested in joining our mailing list for occasional emails about new arrivals, sales, and coupons.
Confirm your order:
  1. Before you finalize your order, you can review your shipping, contact and billing information, as well as your order details. You can change your shipping or billing information by clicking on the "edit" button. Once you have confirmed your information, click the "submit order" button once.
  2. Polkadot Patch Boutique lets you know when we have successfully received your order by quickly producing a receipt that details your purchase. You'll receive an order confirmation via e-mail if you have selected to do so.
After you submit your order:
  1. We'll confirm your order via e-mail if you have elected for us to do so.
  2. We'll notify you of shipment via e-mail as your packages leave our shipping center.  Please note that certain orders will be shipped separately.  However, there will only be one shipping charge for these items.
  3. We'll charge your credit card when we send your order from the warehouse.

  3. Call customer service staff at (802)476-4012.  We will process your order on the phone with you. See our business hours .
Shop by mail/offline:

Sorry...we only accept credit cards for payment. At this time we do not accept personal checks, money orders, or cashier's checks.

Shop by fax:
  1. Place the items you wish to purchase in the shopping cart.
  2. Select “print” from the browser navigation bar.
  3. Fax your item to us at (802)476-6763
Please include the following information:
  • Billing Name, Address, and Phone Number
  • Shipping Name, Address, and Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Item Code(s) and Name of item(s) including size, color, etc.
  • Desired Shipping Method
  • Credit Card Number and Expiration Date
  • Your Signature
Confirmation of your order will be emailed to you, as well as a shipping confirmation with tracking information when the item is shipped.

Special orders:
We would love to accommodate your special requests! We consider a special order to be a request for specific sizes or quantities that Polkadot Patch Boutique must order directly from the manufacturer. Please contact us and let us know which item you are interested in ordering. We will need time to contact the vendor and find out product availability.

Pre-orders:
We are happy to offer pre-ordering of particular boutique brands. Simply pay half of the order now and the remainder when the item is shipped. Only pay shipping once--what a deal!

Custom & Personalized Orders:
Polkadot Patch knows you have certain colors and styles you prefer. We consider a custom or personalized order to be a request for specific colors, initials, or text on items. Polkadot Patch must place custom orders directly with the vendor. As a result, your credit card will be charged when you place your order.

Please contact us and let us know which item you are interested in ordering. We will need time to contact the vendor and find out product availability.

Tracking orders:
Polkadot Patch wants your items to arrive quickly and safely at the intended destination. We utilize online tracking for every shipment and will notify you of the tracking information upon request.

Returning orders:
Polkadot Patch has a 100% shopping guarantee and will accept returns on all orders. Please see our returns policy for more information.

Canceling or Modifying an Order:
We will attempt to cancel or modify any order if we are contacted immediately. We will need to be notified before processing any order, which we normally do within 24-48 hours. We cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel or modify your order, but we will make every attempt to do so. Please contact us with all of the relevant information.

Difficulty Placing an Order:
We're sorry you're having problems placing an order! Please contact us and we’ll help you or take a phone order!

How and when will I receive order and/or shipping confirmation:
We'll confirm your order via e-mail if you have elected for us to do so and we'll notify you of shipment via e-mail as your packages leave our shipping center.  Please note that certain orders will be shipped separately.  However, there will only be one shipping charge for these items. We'll charge your credit card when we send your order from the warehouse. We'll e-mail you confirming your order as soon as we receive it. Save the e-mail, because it includes an order number. We'll also e-mail confirmation of your shipment as soon as your package leaves our shipping center.

How come I didn't receive an order and/or shipping confirmation?
If you don't receive an order confirmation within 24 hours (and you checked to receive one), contact us. We send shipping confirmation e-mails when your order leaves our warehouse.

What do I do if my order arrived damaged?
contact us so that we may remedy the situation. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase at Polkadot Patch Boutique. If you return a shipment due to damage, we'll refund the shipping charges. Read our Return/Exchange Policy for more information.

What do I do if my order is incorrect?
It had to be the dog...or the cat...or the fish....No, occasionally much to our chagrin, we do make a mistake! (please don't tell our children though!) If we have made an error on your order, please contact us so we can quickly remedy the situation.

Why did I only receive part of my order?
If you just received your order, please be contact us. We usually pack and ship an order at once. If you special order or custom order items, we may have to ship these separately. We will notify you if your items will be shipped separately.

How can I return part or all of my order?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase at Polkadot Patch Boutique. If you're unhappy with an item you purchased for any reason, return or exchange it within 14 days of the delivery date to our warehouse for a prompt refund. Read our returns/exchange policy for specific instructions.
