Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We prefer the ones with the pretty pictures, but happily accept ones that are plain as well. We also accept debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo and Paypal. In order to accept Paypal, we require shipments to a confirmed address with Paypal and we require a signature for orders larger than $240.

Is my credit card safe?

How does Polkadot Patch Boutique verify credit card information?
Polkadot Patch Boutique validates your credit card by checking your personal billing information. We require you to enter the billing information as it appears on your credit card statement into the personal billing section of the order before we authorize your purchase.

When is my credit card charged?
We charge your credit card when we ship the item. If we have to ship items in your order separately, more than one charge may show up on your card. When you place your order, we pre-authorize your credit card to make sure the funds are available. Please note: if you use a debit card, the pre-authorization may look like a debit on your account. We won't actually debit your account until we ship your order. If we have to cancel your order, the amount of time it takes to credit your account depends on the issuer of your card.

Can I use a Gift Certificate instead of a credit card?
Of course you can!(and if you have one, you must be very special because we believe these are one of the best gifts you can be given!) At checkout, we'll ask if you want to pay with a Gift Certificate or a credit card, then we'll prompt you to enter your Gift Certificate number. You can use your Gift Certificate for the entire purchase amount, including shipping and taxes. If you don't have enough credit on your Gift Certificate to cover the entire purchase amount...call the purchaser and ask for more...JUST KIDDING, we'll ask you to enter another Gift Certificate number or a credit card number for the difference.
